HondaMan's Pronto thread got me thinking about how amazing the 90s were for concept cars. No generation was as distinguishable as the overly rounded corners, featureless panels and overall uniqueness of the 90s.

So post your favorite and why it's wonderful.

bloated and bland. The Mach III Mustang from 93 gives you the streamlined but cross eyed cat beast. (bonus is the quintessential 90s soft focus and back lit shot - though that could just be a result of painfully low-res digital cameras)

1997 Dodge Sidewinder. A pickup truck convertible. 8.0L Viper V10. 640HP, 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, top speed 170mph, bonkers insane.

took them nearly a decade to bring it to reality. Unfortunately the bonkers were heavily diminished

OK so technically it's a 2000 but by the time it hit the showfloors we were still hung over from New Millenium's Eve, so I'm giving it a pass on the "90s hangover" rule. Plus that spelling aught to give it a pass.

Diminished, but not gone altogether. Dodge has always been nuts.

Hyundai HCD-1, because it still looks fantastic today. Just imagine it in 1992, when the most exciting Hyundai was the SCoupe.

I've got a lot of favorites.

Remember the 1992 ItalDesign BMW Nazca C2? Amazing!

Kinja'd!!!

Before Mercedes-Benz had the G63 6X6 (not counting military 6X6 Gs, though), Dodge had the Ram T-Rex 6X6 in 1997.

Kinja'd!!!

1995 Renault Espace F1. Coolest minivan ever!

And that's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

It did, but take a look at the specs on that... all aluminum chassis, small displacement diesel charging the batteries that would have powered the electric motors.

The Jeepster! A V8 powered "sports car" made to go off-road? What's not to love!?

So great, I have like 4 diecast models of it!
